Super Mario Odyssey

Odyssey is the rare Mario that plays equally well as a speedrunner's dream or a child's first 3D platformer. Cappy's capture mechanic turns everything — a T-Rex, a tank, a frog — into a power-up, and the movement stack of dive, cap-throw, and roll has kept speedrunners busy for nearly a decade. Still the Switch's crown jewel.
